DES MOINES, Iowa—The Iowa Department of Natural Resources does the weekly monitoring of beaches during the summer season. The Iowa Environmental Council uses the Weekly Water Watch to help spread the word about those beach conditions. This Advisories have been put in place for 15 beaches.

Lake Darling Beach (Brighton, Washington County, IA)*
Lake Manawa Beach (Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie County, IA)*
Lake of Three Fires Beach (Bedford, Taylor County, IA)*
Lewis and Clark Beach (Blue Lake, Onawa, Monona County, IA)*
Nine Eagles Beach (Davis City, Decatur County, IA)*
Pleasant Creek Lake Beach (Palo, Linn County, IA)*
