BOONE, Iowa—The Boone High School speech team students, in 16 different ensembles, performed at the large group district contest last Saturday. Thirteen of these performances earned a Division I rating, qualifying for state.

State large group contest will be held on Saturday, February 2, at West Des Moines Valley High School. The speech team is also preparing for district contest in individual events, which will be held at ADM High School on Saturday, February 23.
