BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Conservation Board and staff took time at their last regular meeting in December to recognize Rebecca Roorda with an Outstanding Service Award for 12-years of service to Boone County residents as a member of the Boone County Conservation Board. Roorda officially retired from the board on December 31, 2017. The position will be filed by appointment by the Boone County Board of Supervisors.
