Council Considers Hotel/Motel Tax Grant Applications

BOONE, Iowa—The Boone City Council will hold a Special Meeting Monday evening to consider the applications received requesting a share of the city’s Hotel/Motel Tax.  The city has received nine applications seeking nearly $173,000.  The requests do not include items the council has allocated funds for in the past, like the 4th of July fireworks.  […]

  The U.S. Bank Foundation has provided $5,000 in financial support for the new Habitat house to be built in 2018.  The home at 515 McPerson Street in Boone will be built in partnership with the Lindsay Fitzgerald Family.
