Around 12:10 Saturday morning, the Boone County Sheriff’s Department responded to a single vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of Highway 210 and Main Street in Woodward.  According to the initial investigation, a Chevrolet Monte Carlo, driven by Rebecca Louise Luloff of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, was traveling west on 210 when it failed to stop at a T-intersection stop sign and struck a tree.  Luloff and a passenger, Debora Anne West of Des Moines, were transported by ambulances to county hospitals.  Another passenger, Sheryl Marie Kock of Johnston, was pronounced dead at the scene.  The Iowa State Patrol, Boone and Dallas County Communications, Woodward Fire-Rescue, along with Boone and Dallas County Hospitals all assisted sheriff’s deputies, who are still investigating the fatal collision, and charges are pending.
