OGDEN, Iowa—A funeral service has been set for 94-yer old William “Bill” Porter of Ogden, Iowa.  He passed away peacefully, Wednesday, April 18, 2018, surrounded by family at the Boone County Hospital.  The service will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Bethel Church, 1726 L Avenue, Boone, Iowa.  Pastor Josh McFarland will be officiating.  Burial will be held at the Rose Hill Cemetery, 1173 Laurel Lane Boone,Iowa.  Military Graveside Rites will be conducted by the Boone Veteran’s Council.

Visitation will be held at the Carson-Stapp Funeral Home in Ogden, Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m..
