Des Moines – As Fareway Stores, Inc plans to celebrate 80 years on May 12, 2018, it looks forward to the next 80 years with a fresh design.
One of the new logos prominently features Fareway, with the words meat and grocery, in solid red lettering.
“This new design focuses on what we do best – meat and grocery. Fareway is your neighborhood grocery store that offers an unmatched meat department as part of a full-service grocery shopping experience,” said Fareway CEO Reynolds W. Cramer. “While this new design focuses on Fareway’s strengths, it also symbolizes a fresh perspective. As part of this effort, we’re committed to refreshing your Fareway experience. Customers have already seen architectural and in-store fixture changes; which will continue to other locations. Once inside the store, customers will see our focus to raise the bar within our produce departments and to refresh categories to include items customers are seeking – whether trendy or staples. We will also be adding meal kits and prepared meal options in our stores.”
In addition to a fresh logo, other changes will be coming soon to Fareway stores. A new shield of quality icon will mark product that is high in quality and value, such as fresh items from the meat markets. Over the next year, customers will also begin to see Fareway employees in new uniforms; which will be professional, yet functional.
