BOONE, Iowa—A funeral service has been set for 85-year old Ben ‘Mac’ Young, Junior of Mesa, Arizona.  The service will be held Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets, Boone, Iowa.  Burial will be held in the South Marion Cemetery, south of Stratford, Iowa.  Military Honors will be conducted by the Boone Veterans Council.

Visitation will be held at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets in Boone, Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m.

In memory of Mac, memorials may be directed to the family.
