Salvation Army Changes Food Pantry Frequency

BOONE, Iowa—Due to the receipt of a new grant The Salvation Army, Boone Corps,  is able to change to frequency of food pantry visits.  Effective July 1, 2018 clients may visit the food pantry located at The Salvation Army (509 Benton Street) every thirty days.  This is a change from the recent frequency of every two months.

Clients are encouraged to utilize the food pantry to help with self-sustainability.  The Salvation Army of Boone County serves families and individuals without discrimination with food, utility, rental, personal care products and other services throughout the year.  Individuals and families in need are encouraged to contact The Salvation Army for assistance and referrals to other agencies.

The Salvation Army food pantry is open Monday-Friday (except major holidays) from 10:00 am-12:00 pm and 1:00 pm-3:30 pm.
