Boone’s Fireworks Usage rules

Posted on 22 June 2018 by KWBG

With the 4th of July holiday coming up, it’s a good time to review the ordinance for fireworks usage. After the number of calls to police due to fireworks usage in 2017, in October the Boone City Council discussed making changes to the Fireworks Ordinance pertaining to the usage of fireworks. So it was voted in to allow fireworks to be used on July 3rd from noon to 11:00 p.m.; July 4th from noon to 11:00 p.m. and on New Year’s Eve from noon through 12:30 a.m. on January 1st.
