BOONE, Iowa—A funeral service has been set for 71-year old Richard Karpin of Boone, Iowa.  The service will be Friday, June 29, 2018 at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets, Boone, Iowa.  Burial will be held in the Linwood Park Cemetery of Boone, Iowa.  Military Honors will be conducted by the Boone Veterans Council.

Visitation will be held at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  The family will be present and will receive friends at that time.

Visitation continues Friday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:30 a.m.

In memory of Richard, memorials may be directed to the Gideon’s International or the Salvation Army, Boone Corps.
