BOONE, Iowa—Fareway Stores, Inc. has begun carrying fresh, meal kit options in store locations. The company partnered with Hello Fresh, and is the first Midwest retail chain to carry the meal kits. In addition, FreshTake fully-cooked heat and eat meals are available. All meal kit options will be located in refrigerated sections in-store.

The popular Hello Fresh mail delivery service joined with Fareway to offer their most popular meal recipes, with pre-measured ingredients, in retail form for pick-up on your next trip to the grocery store. Each meal kit comes with easy-to-follow recipes with clear nutritional information, high-quality ingredients sourced from the farm, convenient kits that fit perfectly in the fridge, and a cooking experience that’s second-to-none. Popular meal favorites that you can expect to see in-store include Mediterranean chicken, peppercorn steak, chickpea couscous, and more.
FreshTake meals provide a chef-designed menu of meals that can go from the fridge to the table in a little as ten minutes; giving families less time in the kitchen and more time around the table.
