DES MOINES, Iowa—Governor Kim Reynolds issued a disaster proclamation Monday for four counties in response to flooding and severe weather beginning June 14 and continuing. According to the Boone Water Environment Weather Station, we picked up 2.3 inches of rain Saturday afternoon into Sunday morning.  So we can close the books on June.  From 8:00 Friday morning June 1st, until 8 a.m. Sunday the first of July, Boone County received well over a foot of rain – 13.72 inches.  That […]
