Boil Order Issued for Small Area of Boone Following Water Main Break

BOONE, Iowa—The City of Boone has issued a Boil Order for a small portion of the city, following a water main break Friday afternoon.  When the water main broke, there was a loss of water pressure which led to the Boil Order being issued.  The areas affected are Mamie Eisenhower Ave – from Carroll Street to Greene Street, Greene Street – from 2nd to Mamie Eisenhower, and a small portion of
Carroll Street – from 3rd to Mamie Eisenhower.  Notices were left in the affected area.  Once again, the announcement only affects a limited area in the City of Boone and notices have been left at those residences.
