BOONE, Iowa—A funeral service has been set for 68 year old David Smelcer of Zearing, Iowa and formerly of Boone, Iowa.  The service will be held Friday, October 26, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets, Boone, Iowa.  Burial will be held at a later date in the Rose Hill Cemetery west of Boone, Iowa.

Visitation will be held at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets in Boone, Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:30 a.m.

In memory of David, memorials may be directed to the family.
