BOONE, Iowa—A Funeral Service has been set for 75 year old Dave Reed of Boone, Iowa.  Dave was a member of the Boone County Board of Supervisors for 20 years.  The service will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Boone, Iowa.  Following Dave’s wishes, after the service his body will be cremated.  Burial of the cremated remains will be held in the Squire Boone Cemetery, south of Boone, Iowa at a later date.

Visitation will be held at the First United Methodist Church, Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m.  The family will be present to receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Memorials may be directed to the Boone Area Humane Society.
