BOONE, Iowa—A funeral service has been set for 88-year old Dean Jordan of Boone, Iowa and the Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone, Iowa.  The service will be held Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Boone, iowa.  A luncheon will follow the service at the church.  That will then be followed by burial in the Renner Cemetery located southwest of Boxholm, Iowa.

Visitation will be held at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets in Boone, Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  The family will be present at the Funeral Chapel and will receive friends form 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Visitation will continue Thursday with friends calling at the First United Methodist Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:30 a.m.

In memory of Dean, memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church or to the Boone Municipal Band.
