BOONE, Iowa—Boone County Supervisors and several other members of the Boone County Courthouse gathered for a ceremony Tuesday, in the main lobby of the courthouse.  The event was to seal a time capsule, to replace the one opened earlier this year, recognizing the Centennial Celebration of the courthouse.  The sealing of the time capsule brings to a close a year of events, recognizing the history of the Boone County Courthouse.  The courthouse was originally dedicated May 1, 1918.  The re-dedication was held May 4, 2018.
