BOONE, Iowa—A funeral service has been set for 86-year old Charles Knute of Boone, Iowa and the Westhaven Community in Boone, Iowa.  The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets, Boone, Iowa.  Burial will be held in the Mineral Ridge Cemetery, Ridgeport, Iowa.  Military Honors will be conducted by the Boone Veterans Council.

Visitation will be held at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel, Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  The family will be present and will receive friends at the the Funeral Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Visitation continue at the Funeral Chapel, Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:30 a.m.

In memory of Charles, memorials may be directed to the Westhaven Community in Boone, Iowa.
