The Santa Express trains finished with 11,428 riders this year. Each train takes about 30 volunteers to operate smoothly and most had closer to 40 volunteers. The riders hear the story of Santa’s Scenic Valley Ride, sing songs, drink hot chocolate and get a cookie. The big event includes a visit from Santa himself.
