BOONE, Iowa—A funeral service has been set for 87-year old Ruth Hitsman of Boone, Iowa.  The service will be held Friday, January 4, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Open Bible Church in Boone, Iowa.  Following the service, Ruth’s body will be cremated.  Burial of her cremated remains will be held at a later date in the Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone, Iowa.

Visitation will be held at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets in Boone on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  The family will be present and will be receiving friends at the Funeral Chapel from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Visitation will continue Friday at the Open Bible Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:30 a.m.

In memory of Ruth, memorials may be directed to the family.
