BOONE, Iowa—The Boone Parks Department has determined that conditions have improved and McHose Parks is now re-opened to vehicular traffic.

Due to a small fire at Eastern Star, power is out at Lincoln School. A transformer has to be replaced and will leave Lincoln School temporarily without power.
