BOONE, Iowa—The Boone School District’s ‘DORS Award recipient this month is Hannah Huey-Jones, a Special Education Teacher at Page Elementary. Page Principal Autumn Seiler made the presentation during Monday’s Boone School Board meeting. ‘DORS stands for Dedicated, Outstanding and Respected Service and is presented to staff members that have excelled in supporting students, their families and staff. Superintendent Brad Manard said that usually nominations come from staff, but this time the nomination came from a parent.
