Ramsey Subaru Presents Check to Friends of the Ledges

Posted on 24 April 2019 by KWBG

BOONE, Iowa—Friends of the Ledges added to the funds they’ve been raising for their 2019 playground rejuvenation project at the Ledges State Park.  Pat Klinefelter of Ramsey Subaru presented Lisa Siders, Vice President of the Friends group, with a ceremonial check for $1,000 as a result of the Ledges winning the recent “Park Madness” competition held on the Ramsey Subaru Facebook page.  Friends of the Ledges spread the word to get supporters to vote, and very successfully.  Andy Bartlett, Ledges Manager says the $1,000 will be added to the funds already raised to replace the playground after the recent improvements to the campground.  State Parks Bureau Chief Todd Coffelt joined the ceremony and said it once again was a great opportunity to show the support for the state parks system as we near the centennial anniversary of state parks in 2020.
