BOONE, Iowa—Boone School District has updated information on the lock down in place Thursday afternoon:
UPDATE: As a precautionary measure, the Boone Schools will remain in lockdown until regular dismissal time. Parents may pick-up their children at dismissal time using regular procedures. When the lockdown is lifted at regular dismissal time, to support a safe dismissal a police officer will be present at each building.
