BOONE, Iowa—A funeral service has been set for 81-year old Duane Godfrey of Boone, Iowa.  The service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Marion Street United Methodist Church, Boone, Iowa.  Following the service, Duane’s body will be cremated.  Burial of his cremated remains will be held at a later date in the Glenwood Cemetery, Ogden, Iowa.

Visitation will be held at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel, Sixth and Marshall Streets, Boone on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  The family will be present and will receive friends at the Funeral Chapel Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Visitation Saturday will be held at the Marion Street United Methodist Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:30 a.m.

In memory of Duane, memorials may be directed to the family.
