Fire Fighters from Boone, Ogden, Gilbert and Kelley spent six-hours dealing with a house fire east of Boone Tuesday afternoon and evening. The Boone Fire Department received the call about 3:00 p.m. Boone County Search and Rescue was on the scene along with the Boone County Sheriff’s Department and the Boone County Ambulance. The home was considered a total loss. Boone County records list Adrianne and Bret Johnson as the home owners. The cause had not been determined as of Wednesday morning.
