Boone Educational Endowment Foundation Board Awards Grants

BOONE, Iowa—The Boone Educational Endowment Foundation (BEEF) has reviewed and approved grant applications from Boone Community School District teachers for improving the instructional environment for students. Boone School Superintendent Dr. Brad Manard says once again, BEEF has been generous in their support of education in the Boone Community School District.

The BEEF Foundation promotes, develops, and fosters excellence in all aspects of education in Boone County by providing financial support for innovative educational projects not ordinarily provided through the district’s operating budget.

Following the guidelines established, the BEEF Board of Directors approved thirteen grant applications presented to the Boone Community School District in the amount of $21,189.26. These included:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Superintendent Manard stated, “This is a significant contribution supporting education in Boone. Both our teachers and students will benefit, and we are grateful to the BEEF Foundation for their ongoing support to provide quality education for the community of Boone.”

The BCSD is grateful to the BEEF Board for their ongoing support of children and education in Boone.
