There are only 9 short days left to submit your application for deer hunting in Iowa this fall. Here are a few tips and reminders:
- If you’re applying for the first time, upload your hunter safety certificate to your account Documents folder or email it to webmaster@dnr.iowa.gov. It will be verified and added to your account before you are eligible to apply.
- If you’ve applied over the phone in the past, you are encouraged to apply online early so you can be assisted if you have any questions.
- Preference Pointsare only sold during this time. If you don’t apply this year, make sure to get your point.
- Antlerless tags/leftover tagswill be available at the end of July.
