Linwood Cemetery is preparing for the holiday. Just a reminder from the Boone Park Commission action from July 2014, unfilled urns or vases will be permitted to remain on grave sites at Boone’s Linwood Park Cemetery for 5 days before and 5 days after the observed (Monday holiday) of Memorial Day of each year.

The memorial service for Ila Mae Daniels, age 67 of Boone, will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m., at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall in Boone.
