Kate Shelley Recognized on 138th Anniversary of Heroic Feat

BOONE, Iowa—The 138th Anniversary of Kate Shelley’s heroic effort to stop a passenger train and save the lives of everyone on board was recognized Saturday with a premiere production of Kate Shelley’s Bridge performed at the Herman Park Pavilion in Boone.  The play was written by Diana Star Helmer.  Gershom Levi wrote the musical score  Mishelle Levi was the lead director and was producer for the show.
