Mosquito Spraying In Boone Scheduled for Thursday Evening

BOONE, Iowa—Boone Public Works has been able to maintain their mosquito spraying schedule, every Tuesday and Thursday evening at dusk.  Once again, residents will be able to hear the spraying this evening, weather permitting.  Efforts are made to keep on the regular schedule because of so many outdoor activities, including this Saturday’s 28th Annual Iowa Municipal Band Festival that will be held at the Herman Park Pavilion.  The City’s Public Safety Committee and Park Board have both approved the restriction of park on the road the circles Herman Park during the Festival Saturday.
