BOONE, Iowa—Funeral arrangements have been set for 48-year old Lathen Ely of Boone, Iowa.  Visitation will be held at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets, Boone, Iowa on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  The family will be present and will receive friends at the Funeral Chapel, Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Following Lathen’s wishes, his body has been cremated.  A private family burial of the cremated remains will be held in the Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone at a later date.

In memory of Lathen, memorials may be directed to the family.

The Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets in Boone is in charge of these arrangements.
