BOONE, Iowa—The iconic Big Boy #4014 arrived in Boone about a half hour later then expected Monday. Passengers on an excursion trip from Council Bluffs to Boone left the train at the Story Street crossing in Boone. Big Boy will overnight in Boone in the Union Pacific Rail Yard, parked on the northside near the Industrial Park Road and Argo Street, across from the Boone County Fair Grounds. Traffic is expected to be busy so sight seers should remain aware and safe.
