OGDEN, Iowa—A funeral service has been set for 89-year old Tex Meeker of Ogden, Iowa.  He passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019 at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames, Iowa.  The funeral service will be held Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Community United Methodist Church in Ogden, Iowa.  Reverend Andy Rubenking will be officiating.  Following the service, Tex’s body will be cremated.  Burial of the cremated remains will be held at the Glenwood Cemetery in Ogden, Iowa at a later date.

Visitation will be held at Community United Methodist Church in Ogden, Saturday, September 7th beginning at 10:00 a.m.
