Boone Football hosting “Veterans Night” on September 6th
*All Veterans/Service People from both communities are welcome and will be admitted free if in uniform.
*We will recognize these individuals before the game and invite them to walk out with our Veterans Council for the National Anthem
*There will be a large flag provided by Iowa National Guard for the anthem, we would like to invite both cheerleading squads to help hold the flag.
*One veteran from each community will be recognized with a game ball, and will join captains for the coin toss.
*Items will be collected at the gate for care packages, as well as monetary donations. Below are some requested items:
-Beef Jerky
-Packaged Cookies
-Hard Candies
-Baby Wipes
-Flavoring for water (Mio)
-Deodorant, Travel Toiletries
-sun screen
-DVDs
-Paperback Books
-Tweezers, fingernail clippers
