Posted on 11 October 2019 by KWBG

BOONE, Iowa—The Boone School Board has taken steps to move forward with a search for a new Superintendent to replace the retiring Dr. Brad Manard.  The Board held a meeting on September 16th to interview two firms and hired Grundmeyer Leader Services to support the search for a new Superintendent.  Last week, a work session meeting was held and it was determined to move forward and gather information through a survey.  The district released a link for the survey and is asking for community members to participate and provide feedback regarding what “desired qualifications” are most important for the position.
