Tuesday evening, November 19th, the teachers from Lincoln/Page/Franklin Schools held a fundraiser at McDonald’s in Boone where 15% of all sales were donated to the schools.  A check for nearly $700.00 was presented to the schools.

Boone firefighters and local law enforcement responded to a fire in a lot that housed salvaged HIRTA buses on Wednesday evening.  The buses were destroyed and power was out to some customers in Boone for a time.  The cause of the fire is still under investigation.  

BOONE, Iowa—A funeral service has been set for 96 year old Ralph Koger of Boone, Iowa.  The service will be held Friday, November 22, 2019 at the 10:30 a.m. at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets, Boone, Iowa.  Burial will be in the Linwood Park Cemetery.  Military Honors will be conducted by […]
