BOONE, Iowa—The Boone School Board did not take action to approve an Intent to Purchase Agreement for land to be used for a new elementary school building. The action has been delayed to allow legal counsel on opportunity to review the most recent documents involved with the planned purchase of nearly 40-acres from Goeppinger Enterprises. Superintendent Brad Manard told the Board that some of the last documents were received Monday and the district’s legal counsel hadn’t had a chance to review the paperwork prior to the meeting. The Intent to Purchase Agreement will be back on the agenda in January.
