BOONE, Iowa—A funeral service has been set for 79-year old Joan Mattingly of Wichita, Kansas and formerly of Boone, Iowa.  The service will be held Friday, January 17, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with a Funeral Mass at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Boone, Iowa.  Burial will be held in the Sacred Heart Cemetery of Boone, Iowa.

Visitation will be held at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall Streets, Boone on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  A Rosary will be recited at the Funeral Chapel Thursday at 5:00 p.m.  A Vigil Service will be held at the Funeral Chapel, Thursday at 7:00 p.m.

Visitation Friday will be held at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Boone from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to be gifted at a later date.
