RIDGEPORT, Iowa—A funeral service has been set for 82-year old Darrell L. Harris of Des Moines, Iowa and formerly of Ridgeport, Iowa.  He passed away Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Valley View Village in Des Monies, Iowa.  Following his wishes, his body has been cremated.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel, 6th and Marshall Streets, Boone, Iowa.  Burial of the cremated remains will be held in the Mineral Ridge Cemetery near Ridgeport, Iowa.

Visitation will be held at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
