POLK CITY, Iowa—A funeral service has been set for 78-year old Command Sergeant Major Edward Gabbard of Polk City, Iowa.  The service will be held at the Schroeder-Stark-Welin Funeral Home, 609 7th Street, Boone, Iowa at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 29, 2020.  Interment with Full Military Honors will be held at the Fairview Cemetery, Madrid, Iowa.

Visitation will be held at the Schroeder-Stark-Welin Funeral Home, 609 7th Street, Boone on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.  The family will be present and will be receiving friends at the funeral home at this time.
