Ogden Closes Down City Facilities Due to COVID-19

OGDEN, Iowa—The City of Ogden today released their decision to close city facilities due to COVID-19.  The following is the Ogden City announcement:

In response to the recent State of Public Health Disaster Emergency declared by Gov. Kim Reynolds and in efforts to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19, the City of Ogden has made the decision to close our facilities to the general public. City of Ogden facilities will be closed effective immediately and will remain closed until further notice. Based on the latest information and updates from state and local officials regarding the spread of COVID-19, we have made the decision that closing our facilities is in the best interest of public health and safety at this time.

The City of Ogden continues to monitor the rapidly evolving situation regarding the COVID-19. We are following guidance from the CDC, the Iowa Department of Public Health, and local health officials while attempting to ensure that the services we provide to the public are disrupted as little as possible. The health and safety of our employees and the citizens of Ogden is our top priority.
