Grant Applications are Available to Provide Assistance During Coronavirus Pandemic

UNDATED, Iowa—The Iowa Department of Economic Authority has multiple avenues of assistance for various businesses and organizations during the current coronavirus pandemic.  One of the newest forms of assistance is available with this weeks Federal Disaster Declaration.  FEMA is now ready to begin the application process for public assistance.

Also this week, Governor Kim Reynolds made available grants between $5,000 and $25,000 for qualifying businesses.

Small Business Relief Grant Program

The most recent opportunity is in the health care sector where Community Development Block Grants are now being offered.

Community Block Grant (CDBG) administered by the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA)

Qualifying agencies, entities and businesses that have been impacted by restrictions put in place to deal with COVID-19 are encouraged to submit and application.  Please note that some applications have deadlines by the end of March.
