Boone County Emergency Management is asking for donations to provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to health care providers as well as emergency responders. Needed at this time are: N-95 masks, procedure/surgical masks, face shields, gowns/coveralls and gloves. A community effort has been underway to sew protective masks. These may be dropped off at the BCEM office at 909 West Mamie Eisenhower Avenue in Boone between 8am and 4pm. Please call the office first at 515-433-0592.
