BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Landfill has announced that they will no longer be accepting waste from cash customers from Story County.  Waste will continue to be accepted from Story County account holders..

Work continues on the Green Space on the corner of 8th and Story Street in downtown Boone.  This week the metal privacy fence went up around the porta-potties.  Work also began on the band shelter on the west side of the Green Space.
