DES MOINES, Iowa—The most recent numbers for the Iowa Department of Public Health has increased the positive cases of COVID-19 to 6,376 an increase of 508 from Monday. In Boone County, an additional positive test was added Monday to bring the county total of cases to 8. Of those, 4 have recovered. There’s no indication that anyone is hospitalized. Testing in Boone County increased to 247. No deaths were reported from Boone County patients. Statewide, an additional 9 deaths were reported which brings the total to 136.
