Virtual Spotter Training Returns, Advances Spotter Program Monday

DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service office in Des Moines does spotter training programs every spring, but this year, the sessions were all cancelled because of restrictions in place due to COVID-19 precautions. Because of the cancellations, NWS Des Moines conducted a series of VIRTUAL SPOTTER TRAINING via GoTo Webinar this spring in-lieu of in-person sessions.

Now plans call for another session Monday for Advanced Spotters.
