BOONE, Iowa—Testing for COVID-19 in Boone County has been conducted near the Boone County Family Medicine Walk-In Clinic in the Pufferbilly Days™ Memorabilia Booth located in the alley behind the clinic. But, that is now changing. Testing will be conducted in the building that formerly housed a pharmacy and an accounting business. The same staff will be conducting the testing and requests that those getting tested drive into the parking lot at 104 South Story Street, then call 433-8585 to register. Someone will come out and get the person to be tested or they will call back and direct you into the clinic. Everyone is asked to please wear a mask. If not one will be provided
Hours for the COVID-19 testing clinic are currently set at 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday and 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Non-respiratory patients should report to the Walk-In Clinic as usual.
