BOONE, Iowa—Additional work is being done on the Boone County Freedom Rock project. Sponsored pavers have been installed and concrete work is underway this week. Fred Greiner says additional pavers have already been sponsored and will be installed next year. Meanwhile, concrete work is underway and with additional landscaping still to come. Sponsorship and support is still being accepted at boonecountyfreedomrock.com. Contributions, donations and sponsorships are being handled through the Boone Parks Foundation.
Majors Concrete is handling the concrete work at the Boone County Freedom Rock, located on the grounds of the Boone County Courthouse.
